Imagine building a beautiful family chateaux nestled amidst rambling vineyards and rolling hills....nice? No way. After it is built, your neighbors decide to try and level it by using a high velocity projectile cannon. The only recourse....level theirs! In this strategic game each team will build a palatial scale model of their ideal chateaux out of a variety of materials provided. Teams are also provided 6 raw eggs (representing the defenseless occupants) that they must protect from the impending onslaught. The eggs that survive are worth more points the higher they are located in the chateaux. Additional advantages and bonuses are awarded based on the Chateauxs aesthetics. Kinetic elements; draw bridges, windmills, swings, etc., are also big point earners. Since teams dont know in advance which sides of their chateaux will be facing the firing line, they must make all sides equally strong. A myriad of strategies exist to defeat the competing teams. Seeing the imagination and cleverness of your fellow employees is half the fun and reward. Once all construction is complete the chateaus are placed on the firing range to become cannon fodder. This challenge addresses creative problem solving, risk/reward assessment, strategic thinking and collaboration, among other team developments skills. This game can be themed in a variety of ways.
